I can imagine! Yep, I can see the downside to that. I have no clue who has persimmons around here, but those yotes go pretty far so they could get them all over this county and beyond, I suppose. I heard them far off in the distance a couple mornings ago but they've been pretty quiet for awhile near my place.I used to toss ripe persimmons to the chickens. They loved the flesh of the fruit (as do mockingbirds), but the seeds are left in their litter only to sprout all over the place in the garden later. So, they don't get persimmons anymore.
