The wheels are definitely turning you are a busy boy.
And 400 birds wow. I'm close to 40 at this point and it really doesn't seem like that many. Lol. Keep it up things are looking great. Surprised you don't have a few assistants at this point. Ha. Nice work on the gate too. The road I live on splits my property so I would have to fence and gate the sides seperately.
Whatever you decide to do with the pond let me know and I'll start collecting duck eggs for you. My pond is still in the works, taking the retaining wall down this weekend to let the water do some work on its way out. The new mixer should be here not long after that too.

they have a alot of creamish tan color in them...ill get some pics of them tomorrow....here are some pics from today....planted three more rows in the garden...peppers, hot peppers, red cabbage, reg cabbage, broccoli, and sume plants....wow about half way full on the garden.....here is some pics from today

just set jumbo quail...they are not even hatched and sold every one that hatches...cant wait...hatch babies hatch

gate fully done...put a stable wire for the gate and a locking piece on the right side so now the gate locks

measured out the peafowl pens...going to be three for right now...everything is set into place....and the building has begun...tired....thats for sure...but gotta keep on trucking...i think i can i think i can i think i can....lol....well going to do another quail bbq....to many roos...man those jumbos are big...wow...well thats about it...for right now....oh cant forget im getting more silver golden eggs from someone...cinnamon golden has stopped laying for now....bummer....but got four to hatch from her...so happy about that one...thats for sure....ok im done....hope all is well everyone...for today is done....and looking forward to tomorrow...night

Did Trexroo tell you we got a farm? Paperwork is supposed to be signed on the 9th so we are gonna be way busy for awhile but on the bright side lots of out buildings and space for critters.

so eggsited for you guys...just hatched a bunch of chickens and ornamental pheasants...been way busy...sorry not been on here...will try and post some pics of what has been keeping me so busy...all is well and i hope everyones birds are doing great...it sure is hot up here now...up in the 80s now...well until next time...have a great one.

thought i would share...birds swaps in michigan are officially closed down...right now no bird swaps for the year....wow talk about a damper...wonder what im going to do with the couple of hundred birds i have that were going to be sold...?

Birdman - no birds can change hands? Or no gathering to swap birds in large groups? One is a complete ban, one is a little less hard on people who depend on that exchange... I can remember when my children were in 4H, there was one year where there wasn't ANY poultry being shown state wide, (California) they all had to stay home to to Avian Flu being found in the state. It was hard on the kids and other exhibitors.
