Here in Ontario for the most part everywhere its anything over 105 sq. ft. you need a permit, so 10x10ft structure...

Which is why you often see a lot of farms with tiny little buildings all over the place LOL

I guess that I am lucky. Zoned as Agriculture, if it is a barn, it doesn't matter how big it is. No permit required. A chicken coop is considered to be a barn.

Here, if on a slab or foundation, permit required and restrictions. On skids, no limits, period.

Boxstall Bitties - You could go to the office in person and ask for a copy of what you need to know. No real need to give name and number.

That's what I'll do. I talked to a guy that builds sheds and said that the limit was 12 x 10, which makes sense because all the shed kits are that size or smaller. But he also said there wasn't a limit because it's a coop...I don't know...would rather be 100%, don't want to tear it down. Thanks!
