Built a really nice brooder

With 75+ broilers coming I needed something a little bigger than my tub. Went with 8x8x4, 64sqft. 4 lights. Should work out well.

Looks good! Add a backup string for each of those lamps in case they fall. You don't want a fire. My lamps are held by three mechanisms. :X

Yeah I might go get actual chain. Not sure if I really need 4 but at least they will be warm.

Looks good, should hold them for three weeks or so.

Honestly I would not use all four. I would use just enough that they can get warm without crowding(maybe two?) and force them to come out from under the heat more often by putting food/water further away. They will feather out faster and get pasty butt less that way in my experience. But that's just how I keep mine.

You may also need a top depending on how tall that is. Mine can always fly out of a 3' high brooder by just a few weeks old.

(It sure does look nice and symmetrical with all four there though. My monkey brain likes it.)
