I made this coop totally be my self and I'm not a pro so go easy on it. I replaced my old hand me down coop that was originally made for small sporting birds. I wanted a coop that was easier to clean and had better protection in the winter months.
This is the front.

The side with window.

I used two perches to give them a choice.

Nesting box.

feeder was hung under the coop and water was put on bricks.

This is the roof.

And the clean out and egg door.

This is Nelly. She loves the camera and tried to photo bomb every shot.

My only regret is that I made it too tall for the front door/ramp to work so I had to make another ramp.
It's 4x4x4 and is a mix of old but also a lot of new lumber. Total cost to me was $86 at Lowes and some of that was hinges and barrel locks.

Well done! I thought the shorter ramp was a little strange but you can always make that a swinging door later. I noticed your run was open on the top, it looks like you're in a forested area which means owls and possibly some bad predators...have you considered covering that run so a fox doesn't hop over it or dig under it?

Due to money I can't upgrade the run much. It is next to my house and touching my dog kennel. I'm hoping that the dogs keep fox away. As for hawks and owls I'm thinking of deer net in the trees. The fence is 6feet tall and I lock the coop up at night.

I have already rethought the ramp. I'm going to screw a wood block to the front of the hen house and mount the ramp there. When I open the front door it will lay on top of the ramp.
