Hi thanks for all the info. I used my large cooler box, bought a halogen lamp, added a bowl of water and bought a digital thermometer.
Tested my incubator for 1 day got it to be consistent at 35 degrees Celsius/ 100 degrees Fahrenheit checking the size of opening of lid against temp. I candled eggs and 4 out of six looked promising in first 2 weeks. However 2 of the 4 hatched and this varied 23 to 22 days. Got really anxious in day 21 and wanted to crack eggs open. Please resist this, i have 2 strong chicks and over the moon
