I have 8 hens, including 2 Eggers, who are both low on pecking order. One, the absolute sweetest is run off by all of them. (She's cool, however, in that sometimes she jumps up on the back of my chair while I'm handing out treats---and gets more, avoiding the pushes of the others.)

I can't put all 7 chickens in jail.

How can I up the status of the sweet one?

Also, can chickens sense disease, like cancer? the way dogs allegedly sense covid?

Chickens are able to tell when a chicken is sick or injured or feeling shy and timid by their behavior. Chickens with aggression traits pick up on the subtle behavior and are triggered by it, and they bully these chickens.
