Bulls getting circumcised?

One of my friends is having a baby boy, and the topic of circumcision came up. I wont get into that, but she said her mother circumcised bulls. Her mother was a veterinarian. I am wondering if she is thinking of castration? I brought that up, and she said she knew the difference. So, My question is.......... Are there really circumcised bulls running around our farms?

I grew on a farm where we raised strictly beef cattle. Not once in my life have I heard of a circumsized bull.

I've been around cattle all my life and never heard of that!! I'd think she was mixed up and meant castration
