We got three Khaki cam ducks in March. And then a month later got more That or a mix of Rowan’s and who knows what else. And hatched a bunch a month after that. Also we have three young Muskovy’s.
The first three ducks has one male. My six-year-old named him king David. And he is quite the bully. He bullies all the other male ducks that are younger. And even some of the hens. Plucking out their feathers and eating them. There’s one male duck that he really hates. It’s a white duck with a little bit of brown on it. He usually has on his back trying to kill him.
is this normal? I’ve never had this experience in the past. But all the ducks I raised work for meat. Never pets.
I noticed unfortunately that the majority of the ducks growing up are males. Do I need to just get rid of them?
