Bullying silkies

I have brought home a 6 month old rooster silkie as my silkie rooster was being very aggressive to my hens and has started attacking me also...my legs got all scratched up one day . I have taken my older rooster out to my sons place for now ...not sure if I should cull? But my main question is my 2 silkie hens are bullying the new rooster....they are cornering him and peeking him? Is this normal?

It is normal when you add a new flock mate.

Are they treating him better yet?

Not too much better but he is starting to stand up to some of them....been separating the two females that are the meanest so he only has 1 to deal with at a time

It can take a week or two to fully integrate a new flock member.

Moving one out is a good plan.
