our chicks are 7 weeks old and they are already starting to peck each other. 2 out of 13 are bleeding. I’ve separated the bleeding ones to heal them but is there anything else we can do to stop this? Our last flock we had one that was constantly bullied and she finally died. I don’t want this to happen again.

That happens because the need more room and exercise or less heat. How big is their area? I would assume they are done with heat.

Ok that makes sense. We just moved them outside to their larger coop and run yesterday. But they are still pecking at a few of them. We removed heat last week. Now that they are outside- do you think they’ll stop?

They should if there's enough room. You can spray any that are showing skin with bluekote to hide the skin. Put them down while it's wet in case there's any curious pecking they should get a bad taste from it. Be careful as bluekote will stain everything it touches.

Great thank you. Just bought some but I’m still going to keep them separated until they heal. They are deep wounds. I also found the main attacker and separated her away by herself too.

This how much space they have
