im so sad.. My 3 month old BCM Pullet has bumble foot. I tried my hand at doing an in home surgery over a week ago , all seemed fine until I went to change her bandage and the same yucky black scan was back, it seemed swollen again and some blood was oozing out from the edge of the scab. I re bandaged and sprayed with vetericyn and waited a day and went to change it and the scab came off with the bandage and it was extremely bloody and extremely swollen.. I tried some squeezing to see if any "infection" would come out... But just so much blood. This is an inch long and quarter inch wide hole I'm dealing with.. Not to mention the problem is on her middle toe not her foot pad, and her poor little toe is just so skinny I'm afraid to mess with it too much. Being Sunday I am hoping to call a vet in the morning, but I can't go spending hundreds of dollars here.. I love this little bird.. What would you guys do in my situation? If the vet is too expensive what should I do? What do u guys think the vet will say/do/cost? I have separated her for the time being.. I feel so anxious
