Bumble foot? Healed? Help?

Hi! New poster adding to this bumblefoot thread --
I was able to cut open and remove a scab - sort of a plug - but there was a lot of yellow stuff still in the wound - not pus-like or cottage cheese-like as often described, but solid and hard and yellow. Is that infection that needs to be removed???

Hi @LCL2025, and welcome. It's usually a good idea to start your own thread rather than join on the end of another, it will get more attention that way. Some may not look at an older thread.
Having said that, can you post some clear and up close pictures, so we can see the foot and lesion area clearly? Pus is usually yellow or creamy in color, and can be pretty firm. Sometimes it can take a fair bit of manipulation to get it out, or sometimes even a tool to get it out. I sometimes have had to use a curette to remove it all (link to one on amazon below, they come in many sizes), which is like a tiny spoon, so it's not sharp like a blade. Still takes care to use gently.

Yes, it needs to all come out.
