Bumble foot help

Is the feet you showed all from your Pekin. There is defiantly swelling have you taken the scab off and gotten anything out? When my Hen had bumble there was swelling top and bottom of the foot once I got the bumble[infection] out the swelling went down.

Are you using anything topical after soaks? Maybe call the vet and see if they will give you Silver sulfadiazine I believe that is what @Cparrott is using on his Drake.

Yes all those pictures are from my Pekin the foot that is bothering him is his left witch is the one with the bulb on his inner toe in the middle but I have peeled the scab and the scab has not reformed and nothing came out of it when I originally took of the scab. But now his middle toe looks swollen but only from the top of it but there is no bulb or scab or anything on that toe at the bottom so I’m not sure what is going on & I do have that I got it from the vet I’ve been using it for over a week now

Instead of using the betadine to soak try warm Epsom salt water since it helps with swelling and inflammation. Maybe make a soft shoe out of a koozie I have seen others use these place it on the bottom on the foot and hold it on with vet wrap.

Ohkay I will try the epsom salt and I have made like a little shoe out of foam sheets at Walmart and glued them together and cut a whole where his sore is so it keeps the pressure off but it doesn’t seem to be helping, I do have coozies to make a shoe how do you recommend making it ?

I actually did buy those there called birdy booties but I got the lard size because they are jumbo Perkins and I was worried the my would be to small but now they are too big they trip over them and they pull them off
You could order or make something similar wouldn't even have to be the whole shoe just cut it out size of his foot and then use vet wrap to keep it on go up around the ankle so he can get it off. Main thing is to pad for less pain and protection. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/duck-shoes-now-available-for-sale.266251/ I bought mine from Krazy k farms.

Would hurt I don’t think I use a qtip to spread it over the area I need to cover I think I’d stick to one treatment though and see how that one goes before trying another. Bumble can be trying and can take a while to clear up depending on how bad the infection was to start with.
