Bumble foot no scab tiny thorn piece

My drake has early bumblefoot swelling heat but no scab or redness. Been soking in episom salt 3x day no change but a tiny thorn surface i pulled it. Could that be the cause? Do i countinue soaks and wait for infection to pulled closer to skin?

That thorn could have been the culprit you know how a splinter can cause swelling when we get them. Maybe just keep up the soaking 1X a day for a few days and see how it looks then.

Thanks. He hasnt gotten any worse, its still swollen but less tender. I think he somehow escaped bumblefoot. Thankfully.​
