Bumble foot or ammonia burn?

Hi everyone, I just got these new chicks and was bummed to notice the spots on their feet 😔 could they have gotten bumble foot already or is this ammonia burn? Most of them look like the pictures attached. TIA

Thank you for sharing this article. It does look like the same issue and I have already washed their feet with soap and water. They are only 9 days old!

That young, I'd call it Contact Dermatitis then. It could turn to "bumblefoot" which just really means "infection of the foot".

Likely they were in wet litter, chick water stations can also leak...

Don't get me started on water stations. I used to raise Quail too and those tiny buggers would stand in the water stations making a total mess. Terrible. They were so tiny and cute, but SO messy.
