Hmmm...That looks fresh so if you can see if you find a sliver in her foot then just clean and keep her I'm clean bedding a couple of days.
It does look fresh, I bet with soaks it would heal up quickly.Hmmm...That looks fresh so if you can see if you find a sliver in her foot then just clean and keep her I'm clean bedding a couple of days.
Amen! I don’t have kids and it’s a struggle for me sometimes...lolThat was after I got the scab off and resoaked. I had to wrap it up and put her back in the crate because she was over me messing with her and my one year old was waking up from his nap. It is not easy treating a duck by yourself with 3 kids 4 and under.

Those are helpful pics - and the middle one is really cute.My vet told me that ducks don’t like their entire foot wrapped, unless it is necessary because of location of BF so I always do a half wrap on the foot.

I've been dealing with my own bumble foot with my duck "lou lou"now for a month, do you have a tractor supply store near you?View attachment 1698150
I've been soaking and wrapping her foot since Friday. Today I was able to get the scab off but i couldn't get the kernel out. I'm pretty sure i could see it. She now seems to have pockets of fluid in a couple spots on her foot. Again not the best picture but the pocket of fluid is above the bumble. Is it looking any better?
