She may or may not have stoned when I took this picture! Vet gave some good pain meds the 1 time around

I worked on her foot some more this evening. Got some of the infection out but it still looks like some is being stubborn.

She is not happy with me and is ready to get back out with the rest of the girls.

Hard. I could grab it with my tweezers but just couldn't get it out. She was also way over it and biting me so i called it a night.

So what you'll need to do with your baby is put her on her back, tuck her wings in and her head under your arm, she should be more at easy then. Make sure you have 4x4 gauze because your fingers may slip but you will have to squeeze, if that don't work you may need to make a small cut and then try again.......

That's what i have been doing and wrapping a towel around her. She is still really young and hasn't been handled much. Also she is molting

All that pink around the core is healthy tissue. I would put neosporine on it for a couple of days to let the skin form around the bumblefoot. To get a good healthy base around the BF. Soak and then use the clear iodine on it once the skins heals.
I am a little more concerned about the pocket above it. What does it look like from the top of the foot? Can you get a picture tomorrow of it?

I'll try to get a picture tomorrow. It just showed up this morning. I wasn't sure if the way it was wrapped and her walking caused it to blister. She had another little spot on the outside of her foot too, but i think it might have popped because it wasn't full of fluid this evening.
