I'm worried by the looks of the Bumble, that the infection is spreading up her legs possibly causing osteomyelitis.

I have noticed some birds are much more susceptible then others.
Bumble can also be caused by vitamin deficiency. Are they on a good diet?
I think eventually you or your vet are going to have to get that scab off and get that bumble out. Try after soaking to work it off with your finger nail once you get the scab off hopefully you can pick the bumble out with a pair of sterile tweezers especially if you see it infection up close to the top.
