Bumblefoot drawing salve or Potato?

I live in Germany where I can not get PRID drawing salve. I am sure there is something else here I just need to find it.
I opened the wound as her foot is swollen and looks terrible. I had soaked it for 20 minutes then dug around. I removed as much as I can. Then filled the hole with Neosporin and rubbed it all over her foot then wrapped it.

Can I in the future use a Potato to draw out the wound? I have used it on people for splinters and other objects stuck in the skin (thorns and cysts) .

My last chicken that had bumblefoot was easier to treat. I soaked it then picked at the scab with a blade and the whole thing came out in one piece. It was not as bad as this hen.

The Neosporin should get the job done. If not perhaps the potato might help.

Can we get an update on this chicken? What treatment was used and what was the result? I had good success using a halved potato on an abscess on a neighbor's dog when a vet was not an option. The abscess opened and drained overnight, and dog and owner were delighted.
