I was watching a documentary about deer ticks and Lyme disease back east. The program really ticked me off. I started itching all over.

More on the Darn Hawk Attack

This is where the attack occurred. I have noted where I found Niamh's feathers. I assume that was the initial attack location. It is a tight spot between the 2 tables but that did not deter the hawk. The hawk was on the ground where I drew it. Niamh had jammed herself between the pink bin and the deck wall.

When I went back out to repair the bird netting, I let them out again. Aster was assigned Sentinel duty. This is where she stood.

Enzo also took Sentinel duty.

Aster stood watch until I was done with my netting repairs. Then when I sat down in my chair they assumed I was watching and everyone went about their scratching business.

I gave them all Cheese Itz as a treat before bed. Tilly loved them. It was the first time she ever had them.

Absolutely terrifying. Gosh I am so glad you were out there so fast. Good job to both you and Niamh - she learned a valuable lesson.
