Bumblefoot healing ? Or worse?

Hi all! I have a few silkies experiencing some foot issues- started with scaly leg mites which are being treated and are getting better… now I suspect Bumblefoot. Noticed round scabs in middle of foot pad… removed scab after soaking it. The footpad and scab are both soft. There was no puss, just some blood upon removing the scab. I’m not sure if this looks like it’s getting better aka healing or not… any advice is appreciated.

Been soaking in chlorhexidine solution for 3 days in a row since noticing the scabs, not very red or swollen. Applying cothivet to avoid topical infection, and Vaseline for the scaly leg.

Yes I belive you have to...but you could probably try not to since it's not very severe

Thanks, I just purchased a bunch of chickens that are all kinds of sick. At least two of them have tiny indicators of bumble foot. I am rubbing them with Vaseline. I will report again later.

You need to apply antibiotic ointment and wrap the
foot with vetwrap so it can stay clean and heal properly.
Bumble foot is not a once and done treatment.
