Bumblefoot or just a scab

Hm. Well, bumblefoot is staph, so I feel like it's better to be more careful. You can soak and peel it off and then see if it comes back. If it does, the tricide neo soaks?

I've read some birds just repeatedly have it and some may never get it. It could be your bird is one of the unlucky few.

That’s the thing is that there is no bump or swelling in the feet, just this scab that won’t go away

We are going through the exact same thing with our leghorn. We did 10 days of PRID and Epsom soaks. The gently cut around the scab. I pulled out a whisper of white but then nothing but healthy tissue below it. We treated with neosporin and wrapped it. It scabbed over the next day and it’s been the same size with no swelling or anything since…that was a week ago. We are still using PRID and wrapping daily, but it hasn’t changed at all. I’m wondering if maybe a week of amoxicillin will help, but I too am at a stand still and a little frustrated.
