bumblefoot or something else entirely?

I thought my hen had bumblefoot, but when I went to drain the pus out last night....I couldn't find any? It looks like there should be something there to drain, but I made a few incisions and got nothing.

Her feet look swollen and infected, but not as bad as they looked a few days ago. Is this not bumblefoot? Is she just getting better on her own?

Is there some way you can post a pic? Could it be frostbitten? Scaley leg mites? Pics would really help.

abscess in birds are often "hard" (so not runny like in mammals)...it could be that it is in very early stages and an abscess "plug"has not yet formed...here is a recent thread where I gave links to a lot of info you might want to have a look through:
