Hello,
About a week ago I noticed our roo had a slight limp, and a swollen foot. Attached are the initial pictures of the huge callous/scab prior to soaking and removing top layer.

For the next several days we soaked him and used pride topical, and rebandaged. Last night we resoaked and got the scab/callous area completely off.

There was one area off to the side that had a small kernel, but that large area in the center was pink/red tissue underneath, so I'm thinking maybe that was a callous. His swelling is going down, just wanted to see what others thought of the pictures.

I'm pretty sure that was bumblefoot, not a callous. I'd now put something antibacterial on that, like triple antibiotic ointment (without painkiller). You could either lightly bandage it then or keep him in a box or cage for a day or two.

When you wrote pride topical, did you mean PRID? If you think there's anything still in there at all, I'd use that again if that's what you meant.

Here's a good article that might be helpful too.

Yes, I meant PRID :) thank you.
I'm just concerned that big scab didn't have anything underneath but pink tissue, so I didn't dig. I have neosporin on it and prid and will resoak tonight to check the progress.
