I had to treat one of my roosters for bumblefoot yesterday. I wasn't able to take very many photos because I was working by myself. But I wanted to post the pics of my prep in case anyone needs some help setting up.

The first photo is how I was very calmly and easily was able to soak his feet. And the second is the set up I used to position him for surgery.

The treatment was completed in my bathroom. He is standing in a 3gallon bucket. His head is not covered when he was on my lap, just the angle, he layed very quietly.

Birds go catatonic in that position. Many vets use it to examine birds.
Yeah he seemed to take it really well. There were a couple times he twitched his leg, but I was able to hold onto it really easily.

The rooster is walking around today, slight limp, and bandages still look secure. I will take a look at the feet on Tues as long as he keeps moving around.
