Bumblefoot question ? No Plug ((((update with Pic))))))please help

I am treating what I believe to be a double case of bumblefoot. One foot worse that the other. After removing the scab I can not find a "plug." There was a some white goo/pus not a lot. I could not see a "plug" just flesh and some blood too. Did I miss it or is there some times not a plug? Poor baby she was so good. Thanks

There was a great non surgical treatment on here a few weeks ago...something to do with stuff for Koi maybe...hmm I will try to find it again

this is what her foot looks like after a week after i picked and found no plug. Her foot pad is still pink and swollen. Is this to be expected or is she still suffering with bumblefoot?? Thanks

Maybe it's not bumblefoot with a plug, but it sure looks like some kind of infection. Is a vet an option? Seems like anti biotics would be a must. Also might need to lance, but that's just a guess.

How did it heal? I'm having the same problem with one of my girls. I couldn't find a plug.

Sahraschweiss, this thread is 10 years old. You may never get an answer. Maybe start a new thread with a description and pictures of your problem? Pictures really help. A lot of knowledgeable people here. Good luck!
