I’m treating bumblefoot for the first time, on both feet, with 2 of my girls, and not sure if I’m doing it right.
The first 2 pics are of the girl who has it the worst it one of her feet. I’m on day 5 of Epsom salt soaks and getting what I can from the wound, then packing with prid, gauze and wrapping. The smaller scab is on the worst foot. The swelling seems like it’s getting better and the scab is getting smaller. But on the other foot, the scab is remaining the same and bleeds a good amount when i try to get the crud out.
The last 2 photos are of my other girl. But the stuff in her wound seems like it’s flesh? I didn’t pull on it so I just cleaned it and put prid, gauze and wrapped it.
Is this right? How long does it take to clear?
