Heard about this and saw some pics, so just wondering how to treat it if my birds are ever to get it.

Truly the best thing to consider is preventative. Keep the yard cleaned up and them away from objects that could injure them or puncture the feet. Lower roosts and make sure there are no sharp edges. Ensure landing is adequately cushioned for heavier birds. Keeping them as safe as possible and eliminating risks is much better. Then get prepared in case it does happen - staph is in the wild, so anyone can get it..including people. If you suspect your bird has it, be sure to wear protection while inspecting or treating. best wishes for a happy, healthy flock!
