Do you have any updates on what happened to your girl? I got my girls from a free-range egg farm I was doing vet placement. One of her two feet is back to normal after using drawing salve and Epsom salt + chlorhexidine bath every two days with an extraction. However, her other foot is definitely still infected after taking the kernel out. I didn't think of going up the leg; however, it does look swollen for her, so I wonder if that was handy for you?

After you get the kernel out, are you removing the pus behind it? Keep using the drawing salve, etc., and squeezing if necessary until the swelling is gone.
