Bunnies & Chickens?

Can bunnies and chickens be friends? We want both!

I used to have both in my backyard, they got along famously, sort of ignoring each other, and shared their pen. Actually, the chickens roamed the entire backyard, so including the rabbit pen, while the bunnies (usually) stayed put.
Sadly, a neighbour cat murdered my rabbits, one by one, for all I could do with fencing etc. The chickens fortunately are a whole lot cleverer than to be caught by a kitty.
I had Dutch lop-eared rabbits and I have a couple of Wyandotte bantams, soon to be joined by Australorps which hopefully will be hatched by the Wyandottes
Maybe they got along because my Wyandottes are all friendly and sweet, and the Dutch lopears are also a small and very easy and sweet breed. Allthough my aunty keeps bunnies and chickens as well, both are of a nondescript mix breed.
