2 females, 1 male adult; 1 male and one female young rabbits

Any other fellow bunny owners !? Feel free to post pictures here and yap about them !

Gus Gus is a rescue from a former neighbor. He is a feed store rabbit and we think he’s a lion lop. He free ranges the house (we have to protect cords).

Oh he's so cute!! My daughter wants a rabbit so bad. But we've got 5 indoor cats and a bunch of ferals outside. I think it's a bad idea.

Thank you! We have 2 cats but they leave him alone. Sometimes Daisy, the small young kitty, will lie next to him when he’s on his mat. Baby rabbits would definitely need to be protected from cats but Gus Gus was already about 6 months old when we adopted him in 2022.

Take a look at Flemish Giants for your daughter… I imagine they could hold their own with most cats! ☺️

How cute !!! Wishing Gus Gus a happy time !

Used to have them. What breeds are yours? I had mini lop and lionheads.

Were handovers from when my uncle passed away. Not sure. My main male I think is an Alaskan Rabbit, and my main 2 females are English Spots. The young bunnies are the children of Ruby, my lighter colored English Spot, and the young boy is black like his father, but the young female is gray ! No idea what breed she might be

I will for sure. And I may be concerned for nothing anyhow. Not too long ago, a mouse somehow got inside, and all 5 cats plus the dog circled around it and watched it. One cat bumped noses with it. I ended up carrying the mouse outside in my slipper, lol. So they may not care at all.

are you going to neuter? Or separate? So you don’t get thousands of kits?
I just got a pair of young lionheads and I just separated them but it’s sad. They really want to be togetherThey’re about 3 1/2 months old I was told. I want to get the male neutered but my vet wants $700 I don’t have that right now and I haven’t found any programs to help yet. I’m in north eastern Maryland.

yes of course, I dont currently have any of the kits anymore [ they were sold ] but you should always separate your rabbits when they reach maturity. Same goes to separate females, because they'll start to fight. I'm looking to breed my rabbits, so I'm likely not going to neuter them. Like I said before, I just keep them in separate enclosures until breeding time.

They just look so sad when they’re in separate cages they love each other and they want to be together so I just made an appointment for him to get neutered. I got care credit so I’ll use that. It’s worth it- Then they can be together again. Praise the Lord!
