Oh he's so cute!! My daughter wants a rabbit so bad. But we've got 5 indoor cats and a bunch of ferals outside. I think it's a bad idea.
Thank you! We have 2 cats but they leave him alone. Sometimes Daisy, the small young kitty, will lie next to him when he’s on his mat. Baby rabbits would definitely need to be protected from cats but Gus Gus was already about 6 months old when we adopted him in 2022.

I will for sure. And I may be concerned for nothing anyhow. Not too long ago, a mouse somehow got inside, and all 5 cats plus the dog circled around it and watched it. One cat bumped noses with it. Take a look at Flemish Giants for your daughter… I imagine they could hold their own with most cats!
yes of course, I dont currently have any of the kits anymore [ they were sold ] but you should always separate your rabbits when they reach maturity. Same goes to separate females, because they'll start to fight. I'm looking to breed my rabbits, so I'm likely not going to neuter them. Like I said before, I just keep them in separate enclosures until breeding time.
