BUNNIES!!!!!

Can't wait to get the pictures on here for you all to see! I had a rabbit who had her litter in the dog house where my ducks lay their eggs! I found them a few days before mother's day when I was raking the eggs out, they came rolling out with the straw so I very gently put them back in. One little one decided to come out and hang with the ducks. They were very protective of the babies and even the males went in to fix the straw over them and check on them! This one little one who was brave sat by the ducks and even ate some kale and peas with them. I figured the mother must have been coming back during the night to feed them. On mother's day evening they were all out and I counted 5 and the next day they were gone. It must have been time for them to move on. During the time they were buried in the straw the ducks kept laying their eggs in there with them so I just put on gloves, got on my hands and knees and picked the eggs out. It was so neat because you could see the little ones moving around in the straw and even peeking out and after I got the eggs, the ducks would go in and tuck the babies back in and sometimes even sit in there for a while. It was special to have a little "nursery"
