Bunny bleeding from ears

Does anyone know what could of happened my bunny randomly started bleeding from his ears.and it happens at random he randomly shakes his ears and blood starts to come out.He is inside right now and he started doing this since yesterday.and I have tried cleaning his ears but they keep getting dirty with blood.

Sounds like an ear canker which is caused by Psoroptes cuniculi (ear mites). The mites also will cause the head shaking.

We use to give ivermectin injections growing up on the farm, but if you go to the vet they will most likely give you Selamectin (also called Revolt) which is a topical treatment and much easier to use.
