Get either sex fixed and hardly any issues keeping 2 of a kind.

I have two male rabbits, and both are fixed, but I would not trust them to be kept together.

It takes a process to house two together. Unless they are littermates.

I have 2 female rabbits that are inseparable. They are free range because they dug themselves out of every hutch I ever tried to put them in. They are never more than a few feet apart. They are super cute. But even in the hutch they got along very well.
