Bunny's with Chickens

I've never tried keeping them together but my concern would be with the rabbit having to hop in chicken poop all of the time. I would think it might aggravate the rabbit if it was always dirty!

But that's just something that comes to mind.

I advise stronger against this for numerous reasons.
1. The rabbit is in danger of being severely wounded by pecking hens- the eyes are especially at risk.
2. The hens will eat the rabbit's food and vice versa, which leads to incorrect protein and rations for both species.
3. The rabbit will indeed become dirty.
4. The hens may become frightened/skittish because a rabbit resembles a few different predators.
In the end, it's just not a good idea. :/

Would it be ok if I put our bunny (1) in with the chickens (30)? Would they get along?
Welcome to BYC!

Weeelll....it would depend.
Will the rabbit have is own hutch that it stays in full time?
Would that hutch be protected from chickens getting on it and pooping on the rabbit?
Would the chicken be able to go under the rabbit hutch and get popped and peed on?
