burrs stuck in fleece!

Does anyone know how to get those tiny burrs out of fleece? I rode through some the other day and my fleece pants and coat are COVERED!

I've always given up and thrown stuff away...it drives me nuts...all scratchy and I can never seem to rid of them no matter how much picken or brushin or what ever I do.


and at first i thought you were talking about a lamb or something and I was going to suggest that a dog groomer suggested vegetable oil to work the burrs out of a husky I knew.

...but that's not the case here.
