Does anyone else get a little irritated with businesses that have websites, but don't answer emails at all? It makes no sense to me. Why have a website with an email contact listed, but not answer emails?

I find it to be very frustrating. I am still recovering from having part of my throat removed several months ago so making phone calls is very difficult. I am stunned at the number of businesses that don't respond to even very simple one question inquiries.

I took an e-business class about ten years ago when I had my real estate license and in the class we learned that people will be more angered with a business that has a website and doesn't respond to inquiries than if the business had no website at all. I can totally believe that now.

I hate it too. Or you happen to see someone who you have not seen in a long time and THEY give YOU their e-mail and ask for yours, so you e-mail them and no response. Well WTHeck, if you had no intention on keeping in touch then why would YOU offer YOUR email and then want mine

Probably would not have enjoyed talkin' with ya anyway ... some people.

Thank you for the responses. It is *so* frustrating, isn't it? Two of my recent experiences were with bird businesses too, one of which I have spent hundreds of dollars with. One I have been waiting for about three weeks now just for an address to send PAYMENT to!! The lack of customer service is amazing to me.

It can get worse. Try being the company.
We have a website and email at my work.
I am the ONLY one who ever checks it. Therefore, when I am
off or on vacation, I come back to hundreds of emails that
have never been checked, let alone responded to.
