Busy Rooster..would that slow egg production

just wondering if a horny rooster would slow my 6months old hens to come into egg lying???? just wondering impatient here for the first EGG..

Not in the normal course of things, but if you're talking about serious over mating it can take a toll on egg production.

ETA: The shorter days of fall are most likely what is causing the delay.
