Butcher age??

What age do y'all butcher your bobwhites at? And why do you butcher at that age?

I dont keep bobwhites, but I've heard it's about 6-8 weeks old at the earliest. I'm not entirely sure, but someone is bound to know!

I've never had bobs, but I processed my jumbo coturnix no earlier than 10 weeks. Any sooner than that and it's hardly worth it.

I guess that 7 weeks is to young on bobs?

Definitely too young, I would think it would be more like 4 or 5 months, but I don't know for sure.
