He doesn't smell bad, I plucked him and then eviscerated. Then I rinsed him under cold running water--all before the fridge. I just wrapped some saran wrap around him in the fridgePictures???
Does the carcass smell bad?
Did you pluck or skin and then take all the entrails out before putting the carcass in the fridge?
Did you stack the carcass against/under anything, or set it on a shelf with plenty of air circulation around it? Was it inside a bag inside the fridge?
DId you cool the carcass off by rinsing it with running water (hose) or soak it in ice water bath before you put it in the fridge? If so, how long was it in the ice water bath?
How did you slaughter the bird, and if you bled him out, what technique did you use?
