Well, I've come to the conclusion my two roosters just can't cohabitate peacefully. And since I raised both of them and feed both of them and taken very good care of both of them...I've decided to slaughter one of them.
The only problem is, the one I want to slaughter and eat, has a ton of MITES!
Can anyone advise me if it's safe to eat a bird in this condition?
Other than the mites, he's perfectly healthy.
Robust;
Plump;
Mean as heck;
an EE;
about a year old;
and eats a TON of cracked corn.
I'm familiar with butchering a chicken - done it twice - but never a rooster.
Do they taste good?
Well, I guess I'm drifting from my original topic...MY MAIN CONCERN IS THE MITES.
GOOD or BAD?
Thanks...
