Butchering age for Light brahma Roos.

Well the time is getting near to butcher my Light Brahma packing peanuts, they are 10 weeks old tomarrow! So at what age should I begin the processing? And what is the easiest and less tramatic method of dispatching for the chickens (and Me). This is going to be very hard to do, but nonetheless, It is a must. I've heard 16 weeks is optimal. Please Respond.

4-6 months has worked great for our extra roos... but I don't know of a non-traumatic (for you or the roo) method for dispatching them. Well, the least traumatic for me is to have someone else do it.
