Today was the big day! I wasn't sure I would be able to do it but with the help of my awesome FIL we did it! It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. We butchered the 12 roosters of the slow white broilers. They were 10 weeks old. They came out very nice about 4 to 5 pounds each. We still have 12 hens left for next time. We hung all 12 on the line and then off with their heads....I decided I would post the pic with the heads still on. And then all the plucking! Starting to look like dinner!
