Butchering help needed in SE PA

I have meat rabbits that need to go to freezer camp and I don't have an issue with the part, it's the smell. I really have a hard time with it. Do I stuff my nose? Do I find someone who can do it for me in exchange for some meat and/or pelts?

One thing you can do for the smell (the blood, viscera, or other?) is to put some Vick's Vapor Rub underneath your nose. At this time of year, the pelts probably aren't that valuable and it's harder to skin if you are preserving the pelt. You might get someone to help you out if you are only harvesting a few. For a large group, paying for professional slaughter and packaging is probably worth it.

A painters mask with a dab of Old Spice or other deodorant rubbed onto the outside works really well. As it "cups" over your nose and mouth, it allows incoming air to swirl the scent of the deodorant around before entering your nose.
