I’ve had my bobs now for six months I’ve trio’d them and seem to be just fine but no eggs they get gamebird crumble and chix scratch almost daily and meal worms(pre packaged already dead) I also give them fruits and veggie from table scrap they love it but I’ve had them sense November raised them up next to no loss as babies why won’t they lay I’ve kept lots of bobs in the past all layed by now I can’t figure it out they are in a 3foot wide 8 foot long 3 foot tall cage 3 males 7 females I know they are of age to start laying my buttons are laying, chickens are laying even my turkeys are and I got them all at the same time with in a week of each other I’m kinda frustrated

My Georgia giants that are a year old just started yesterday. At least one of my 8 hens. My chickens started 3 weeks ago. Turkey'
Are hit and miss over last 2 weeks. Pheasants started 5 days ago.

Could be weather.
Just not getting enough light. My cotornix. That had solar lights started a week ago. Pens across from them without lights no eggs or rooster crowing.
I'm not sure on butler's I have some but hatched in Jan. Aren't they the slowest to mature out of the Bob species. Maybe they just need a little longer.

Give them time. Bobs hatched last fall will be later to start laying. 6 months is minimum time for sexual maturity. Many of them take 7 or even 8 months to start. Bobs take a long time to mature. Give them time, they should be laying very soon. :)
