Butter fingers

Well, last night I was turning my eggs and I dropped one. It cracked, not busted, and it started seeping a little blood. The eggs are due to hatch on or before the 13th. I say on or before because these are the 30+ eggs I pulled from under my 3 hens.

What would you do; just leave the egg in (it was still alive) and candle 1 more time before then? I do have another egg that was cracked when I put it in the incubator that is doing well and growing (also due on or before the 13th), but it never had the blood seeping.

Blood dosnt sound good at all , I think if I candled and the baby was still alive I would be tempted to wax it with candle wax but I woudnt put much hope in it. Good luck

Well I never put anything on the other and it is doing fine - I will post a pic. But this one, was still alive as of last night, I guess I will check again tonight and keep my fingers crossed. The 13th is so close.
