Oh my god I can't beleive on my first hatch I've lost an egg due to my clumsiness and dropping it, how awful do I feel now. Now i'm thinking is there a different method to turn the eggs so I don't drop another one

I dropped one on my first hatch also. I felt like poo for a while but got over it and now I'm just a little more careful when I handle the eggs (and try not to turn them when I'm tired

). I was thinking of buying an auto turner but as I like handling the eggs and I don't plan on hatching much more this year (next year I hope to have at least one broody to raise the chicks) so I decided to spend the money on more eggs instead!!
