When butter milk and scrambled eggs are fed for the probiotics doesn't it kill the probiotics ( good bacteria) when cooked? Any other ideas on feeding butter milk? I'm thinking pouring it in cooled oatmeal.
Butter milk and eggs are not usually considered probiotic foods. Yes cooking will kill the good, bad and ugly bacteria. You could mix the butter milk into the feed and make a porridge of it.
Buttermilk is a good source of beneficial bacteria, and since eggs are so good for them, I'm always reading to give scrambled eggs with buttermilk. Just wondering how people fix it without defeating the purpose and killing the bacteria. Good idea to just make a mash with the food thanks.
