I am digging up a couple of clumps of butterfly ginger. It is a tropical, but I can grow it here, even tho we get very heavy frost and freezes. Grows very well, in the fall it puts out white flowers that have the most incredible scent....exactly like gardenias, which I can't grow. Works well as a potted plant also.
